Exclusive House in Italy

22 photos
A 530 m2 villa, set in a territory rich with art, culture, natural beauties, mild climate, and a landscape with dominant notes of intense green of Italy.
A short distance away from the seaside beauties of Liguria, such as the Gulf of Poets and the Cinque Terre, and of Tuscany, like the white beaches of Forte dei Marmi, the villa is in perfect harmony with the nature surrounding it on every side.
The exclusive house is laid out on three levels, and the detail that immediately strikes the visitor on entering, with its art nouveau style, is the large double entrance staircase, of Apuan marble, which leads to the second floor where there are a kitchen, a large living room with fireplace, a dining room, and a bathroom, all with frescoed ceilings and Venetian terrazzo flooring.
On the third floor we find another kitchen, four double bedrooms, and two bathrooms with impressive fixtures.
On the entrance level, the ground floor, we have a spacious recreation/rustic dining room, a laundry room, and two multi-purpose rooms with old barrel-vaulted ceilings, under which we find a 35 m2 indoor swimming pool.
Outside, the property for sale is surrounded by a hectare of gardens with centuries-old trees and Mediterranean plants, but adjoining the estate are another 3 hectares of arable land. There is also the possibility to build a guest house on the grounds.

Tuscany Lunigiana

Lunigiana’s name comes from the colony of Luni, founded by the Romans in 177 B.C at the mouth of the River Magra, So rich and gleaming with marble that it misled the Normans into thinking it was Rome.Today Lunigiana is identified with the valley of the Magra and its tributaries, while its historic boundaries are much broader, but the most ancient history is the history of a proud people of Ligurian stock.

Situated between Tuscany and Liguria, it shows the most peculiar traits of the landscapes of both regions, in the composite cultures and cordiality of the people. A small region, rich with history, which appears as a kaleidoscope of lights, colors, and images, rich green scenery that ends, high up, with the jagged Apuan mountain tops and the vast stretches of Apennine meadows.

The Via Francigena leads gradually into the soul of this land, a land of roads along which hospitals offered hospice to pilgrims passing by, little parish and country churches that watch over the fords of the Magra, and abbeys that protected villages and crops.
And here, in these valleys, for centuries the saga of one of the oldest and most powerful families of the past unfolded: the Malaspina, whose guests included Dante and numerous troubadours, adventurous sailors and inventors.
